I develop data-driven computational methods for improving individual health and quality of medical care. I lead the Health NLP Lab at the University of Tübingen, where we specialize in mining, representation, and retrieval of large-scale natural language resources. I am a member of the Cluster of Excellence "Machine Learning: New Perspectives for Science". Check out their blog here.
